When GOD Promises... Hold on

I’m going to be Great!... Those words are easy to say, more or less the one that’s way easier is when GOD says something to you like the way HE promised Moses progress in HIS assignment to get the people out of Egypt! If man promises, you can filter the words as he  modifies  it, because man can change! But if GOD promises be ready to hold onto it, till death!

And the Lord said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him: And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the Lord.
Exodus 10:1-2

Please read Exodus 3 there you see the whole story that will be described in about 8 chapters,  easily explained! In summary GOD told Moses that he should go and get the people out and he will be successful! This vision did not entail the fact that as a leader you will be scared, your people will hate you, it will take some patience over time where you will feel rejection and the worldly self love won’t be enough to keep you going!

Above all there is a thing GOD promised Moses,  the person I’m sending  you to (Pharaoh), I will make his heart hardened! Let me put it like this, “ Hey Child I’m sending you to college and I  will make sure you fail your finals a couple times, but at the end you will be successful!”

Failure draws you closer to GOD, you know that moment when you want to complain about a bitter pain let’s say to the doctor, you go straight to the point, you let the doctor into your personal life straight away without questions! But when you want to ask something special from your parent or the one you love, you don’t go straight to the point you act “lovey dovey” before you let your heart known!

 Between  Exodus 3 and 14 you will see Moses going back to GOD, this is someone that  did not know his way to GOD, but failure taught him how! Don’t be afraid of the setbacks in life keep going back to GOD in 2018! Because if you don’t pass the test of pushing against obstacles in life! You will never really know GOD and have an intimate relationship with JESUS! After the Red Sea experience it was said that the people knew GOD! Exodus 14
